Enjoy your break. Rest assured your basic premise that innovation is vital is surely correct and perhaps proveable. However, I can see in the current environment the story may not be sexy enough (and fails to support the fundamental hypothesis [lie] of the current time – that financial ogliopoly is what is keeping America great). Might be worth a book – how innovation saved (and is continuing to save) our plump western asses.
